Last week I asked my Facebook Community, Your Second Act: Self-Care at Midlife, "Which Type of Eater Are You?"

The response I got was overwhelming!

(First, can we take a minute to celebrate the fact that they're becoming so much more aware of what they want to eat and how those foods make them feel.

This is something that's often numbed from years of living with stress and using food to cope. Yet, that connection to your body is so important!

The poll spoke, and the #1 answer I got was......... *drum roll* 🥁.........

Feel Good Freda: You eat when you are happy, sad, stressed, or bored. So many nights, you wonder how you finished off that bag of popcorn?

I get it.

When you are hit with these cravings, it's easy to feel out of control and fearful about weight gain or body changes.

As tempting as it is to go back to restriction and dieting, you can really learn a lot about yourself through your cravings if you are open to learning what they are trying to teach you.
